Account Deletion & Data Management

Users can request deletion of their MapMyGene account and associated personal data at any time.

In-App Deletion

  • Log in to the MapMyGene mobile application

  • Navigate to Settings

  • Select Delete Account

  • Confirm the deletion request

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

  • Your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted

  • Genetic reports and health-related data linked to your account will be removed from our systems

  • Some limited data may be retained where required for legal, regulatory, or security purposes


Processing Time

  • Account deletion requests are processed within 7–14 business days


Important Notes

  • Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered

  • If you have ongoing services or orders, deletion may be processed after completion
